Hi,
I recently found the software named hidpoint for USB based Multimedia keyboards/mice. I got my DiNova Cordless desktop working fine. All my multimedia keys working fine. Installation of software is very simple. It has a GUI based Installer.

The software currenlty supports Logitech devices. It supports for ubuntu 6.0.6 , Fedora core 4, fedora core 6, Suse 10.0, Suse 10.1, suse 10.2 , RedHat Enterprise Linux 4.0 and RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.0

You can download software at www.hidpoint.com/download.html

I hope this helps

thanks

Other gadgets covered include the Nokia tablets, the BlackBerry, the Neo FreeRunner, the Dash Express, the Roku Netflix Player, the Kangaroo TV, The TomTom GO 930 and the MooBella Ice Cream System.
